Robin Hood

Auditions: Saturday August 28, 2010 at 9:00am

SHOW DATES:  Nov 26 - 28, Dec 3 - 5, 10 - 12, 2010
You must be available for all performances in order to audition!

In this fun filled family show. playwright Larry Blamire has synthesized the conflicting legends and ballads about the outlaw folk hero and created a hysterical, sprawling, action packed drama. Besides ably retelling the legend, Blamire has created roles that challenge and reinvent the myth. You will meet a wise-cracking, superior swordsperson in Marion, and a Robin who only by chance finds himself the hero. But true to legend all ends well.

Please bring a headshot or snapshot if you have one, your resume, and a prepared (preferably memorized) one minute dramatic or comedic monologue. ALL potential cast members will have a movement audition so dress comfortably. Don’t worry! No stage combat experience required. We just want to make sure you are coordinated enough to learn in the time allotted.
