Sally Kinka is a playwright, director, puppeteer, and drama teacher, with a special concentration in drama as therapy. She has written, directed, costumed and taught for ArtStream, North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre, Black Rock Center for the Arts, Imagination Stage, Adventure Theatre, Hospice Caring of Montgomery County, Florida Children’s Repertory Theatre, Wekiva River Players, and the Orange County (of Florida) Historical Museum. She has also worked as a Drama Therapy Specialist at The Hospital for Sick Children, Georgetown University Hospital, the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women and Children, and the Nemours Cancer Clinic. She holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Lake Erie College, belongs to several organizations in the field of Playwriting and Arts in Healthcare, and has participated in various intensives and workshops in these fields.
