Romni's Yes and Advance in Improv

Adult Advanced Improv Class

You understand the improv basics. You are ready to dive in deeper!

In this class, we will focus on being clear, yet malleable in your thought process. Be ready to heighten your listening skills and overall sense of awareness! Students will be reminded that creating a relatable story/scene requires these main elements:

  • confidence in what you know to be true in that moment.

  • an attentive ear, ready to accept verbal “gifts/offers” while your eyes are always looking for non verbal “gifts/offers”.

  • a sense of urgency to “meat” of the scene, but without rushing the moment.

  • readiness to laugh at yourself and praise your peers.

To be eligible, you must have at least 3 class sessions with any improvisational instructor/institution before taking this class.

The class presents a final performance.
