Pre-K & Parent: Acting Through Storytelling

AGES 3-5

Step into a world of imagination and play with your little one in this engaging Pre-K class designed for children and their grown-ups! Through lively storytelling, movement, and simple role-play, young learners will explore characters, emotions, and environment in a fun, supportive space. This class encourages creativity, language development, and social skills — all while strengthening the bond between child and parent. Perfect for budding performers and imaginative minds!  

PLEASE NOTE: These classes will be at the GREYSTONE RECREATION CENTER, which is next door to NRACT.

Creative Drama

GRADES K-2

Get ready for an awesome adventure! In this class, students will take a theatrical journey through games and activities. They will practice skills for Acting, Storytelling, and Character Building as they work as an ensemble to create and rehearse an original short play. This session will conclude with a presentation for family and friends.

Musical Adventures - Showstoppers!

GRADES K-2

Students will enjoy learning many games and activities to help develop their skills for performing on stage. Fundamental skills for performing on stage will be explored, including stage directions, storytelling, projection, diction for both speech and singing, and movement/dance. Two pieces will be presented in the performance showcase at the conclusion of the class.
